I had been meaning to run some tests there. I actually changed to a sigma
on my recumbent. I had to, because of the very small wheel diameter, it would
need many rotations to register the same distance.

Normal magnetic reed switches topped off about about 70Km/h, and the only
specs I could find on the sigma was the screen reading maximum, not the real
test specs.
Anecdotally, they worked quite higher, but not specified on a small wheel
diameter as in my case.

Ironically, I hadn't had an opportunity to test this one over 70Km/h since
installing it, but I'll get around to it one day.

I know about this problem.

The first pushie trip computer I fitted to the Z50 would go berserk at
about 74 kph.

Because of the wee wheels, it was getting too many "ticks" to count.

Swapping to the Sigma unit cured the problem. I have only tested the
Sigma (on the Z50) upto about 92 or 94....yes, it was down hill with a
following wind.
