This laptop is a Core i7, 4GB of RAM, ATI HD 4830 GFX. It does go like the clappers but gets rather toasty. You can set a flag in your boot.ini that will display 4 Gig but that last Gig will only be used by core processes, not by applications. It doesn't hurt to set up the /3G flag as that directs that RAM to be used by said core processes, but to be quite honest if your are pushing limits on CS anyway, you probably won't notice a lot of difference. -- Kev |
