Spooky though. Bad things can happen quickly with a table saw. <snip stories of pain and destruction> Sounds like I want wire feed for my imaginary projects. Stick is probably best for the swiss-cheesed plow blade on my new old 1983 W150 dodge shortbed plow truck. It's not an emergency - works just fine but looks a little cheesey. I've been dreaming of building my own custom; not because I have a great vision, just because.

But who would ever think THAT would be a solution worth pursuing? Two types that WOULD pursue that solution come to mind...criminals and politicians; but maybe that's only one type after all. -- Charles '99 YZ250

Enron wasn't a vulture, it was a predator that pretended to be a vulture... Really, isn't that Buffet's strategy? Buy low, sell high. Sounds vulture-like to me. Pointing people to the best junk shop ever, that few of them can actually visit. Cruising the isles at HGR is addictive. I buy something almost every time (80A, 10V power supply a couple weeks ago) but am perfectly willing to just look around. The integrating spheres (for calibrating some light thing I think) that were 6' diameter almost came home with me to make a big earth globe. Or xmas ornament for a gigantic Xmas tree. Or something, they were just cool. Go fast. Take chances. Mike S.
