It was a feature on the GS450 too. And for good measure, to make sure
you didn't produce too much more electricity, it'd make sure your stator
got fried too.

Ok so I tested it myself.

5.7 Lt EFI Holden in diagnostics mode.
All Lights off idle speed ~803
All Lights on idle speed ~803
All lights off fuel rate 2.68L/hr
All lights on fuel rate 2.68L/hr

Yet to be convinced Nev..

It may turn over at a constant rate, but it will need more force to make
it turn over if it is producing electricity - or, in the case of an a/c,
running the compressor.

OK, so Clem has pointed out that this lights on = extra fuel business
won't apply to my bike. You have pointed out that it won't apply to my
car. Now you're trying to convince me using examples involving my
bicycle...

No no; he said that the lights=drop-in-revs isn't happening in your car
because the computer compensating by using MORE fuel (same as Michelle's car
does but apparently more seamlessly).
