We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember petrolcan <petrolcan(a)SPAMgmail.com>
saying something like:

>> Looking for a semi decent camera. Have around 350ish to spend.

>A DSLR doesn't come in on budget, even second hand.

Eh? 350 will buy any number of decent cameras.

I know, but I'll bet you cannot find a DSLR with video capability for that
price.

Try OU Course T189, I just completed it and thought it was great. Cheapest
photography course by a long shot that I found...

Funnily enough, I've just done that too. Good course, and nice and
convenient, but cheap? Nearly 200 for an untutored course, whereas my local
ad. ed. college did a similar, but tutored course for less than half that.
Get a copy of the course notes from someone, and an account on Flickr, and
save yourself the 200 would be my advice.

What would the Flickr account be used for, thought it was a upload
storage place.
