Don't ask why, I'm not sure why, but I've bought a pole and rig to go
fishing with the kids.

Fucked though if I have a real clue about fishing other than when I
were a kid we'd stick a worm on a hook and sit by a bank.

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a numpty
beginners guide either online or offline to help us get the most out of
it?

Already bought a copy of a couple of mags but they don't go into a
numpty enough level IYSWIM?

I know it's an old fashioned idea but join a club or go along to a carp
pond where some old geezer will soon latch onto you & the kids...

Wot he said, don't even think about it without a license, the fines make
being caught speeding look cheap.

And just for the record a fishing pole is a merkin term for a fishing rod
and thus comes from a foreign and infinitely inferior language and thus
not a word that is acceptable in these parts.
