From: WW on 20 Jul 2010 12:58 Jay I also have a Garmin GPS. I leave it in a desk drawer. Only good for a paper weight. Tells me to turn where there is no street. Will not recognize streets near me that have been there for 40 years. Years ago I would backpack several days by myself to get photos (in Colorado) Would trek over several mountains with no trails. Never got lost or disoriented. Just paid attention to what was around me. Maybe stupid luck. WW
