The aptly named "Boycott Arms" just off the Bridgnorth road has had that sign for as long as I've been riding - and it still applies to this day. Every now and again someone tries pulling the race card and claims that it's because they are black that they are not being served. The pub gaffer shows them his scrapbook of newspaper cuttings and telling 'em it's because they are riding a motorcycle. Its his pub, and he can serve or not serve who he wants. A lot of pubs say "No coahc parties", so what, they don't want your service. ANd it is probably a shite pub anyway. There is a nice little pub near Frodsham, that on exiting we noticed the "No motorbikes" sign (we had been in the car), never been back since because of it.
