FFS. They are horrifically expensive, but it's a definite bargain cos I've been after one for ages and was prepared to pay 400 for a used one. My new roll-cab retails at just under a grand, I paid 230 quid for an immaculate used one just before xmas. These are my xmas pressie to myself with a bit of 'I've been very ill so I'm cheering myself up' thrown in for good measure. -- Lozzo Versys 650 Tourer, CBR600F-W racebike in the making, SR250 SpazzTrakka, TS250C, RD400F (somewhere) Garage clearout - Yamaha SpazzTrakka 250 for sale, email for details

I was thinking of selling the old Snap-On 3 drawer top chest I'm currently using, but I will still need something to chuck in the back of the race van on weekends. For what I'd get for the old one I wouldn't be able to buy a decent enough cheapie so may as well keep it and use that as my race box. -- Lozzo Versys 650 Tourer, CBR600F-W racebike in the making, SR250 SpazzTrakka, TS250C, RD400F (somewhere) Garage clearout - Yamaha SpazzTrakka 250 for sale, email for details

And because humping the old boxes around places too much strain on the affected groin area? -- BMW K1100LT Ducati 750SS Honda CB400F Triumph Street Triple Suzuki TS250ER GN250 Damn, back to six bikes! I picked up an identical one, in immaculate condition a few months back for £127, mind you, I did have to go from somewhere called "Leeds" to another place called " Manchester" to get it. I was up there 'though. I am in the market for a roll cab to sit it on now.... -- Speedgazebo

I will most certainly need someone else to lift this into the car when I collect it tomorrow morning. There's no way I'll manage to lift one end of it with someone on the other end, even empty. This kidney stent is the most uncomfortable and sometimes painful thing I have ever experienced; I include broken bones in that. -- Lozzo Versys 650 Tourer, CBR600F-W racebike in the making, SR250 SpazzTrakka, TS250C, RD400F (somewhere) Garage clearout - Yamaha SpazzTrakka 250 for sale, email for details |
