In the grey colour it looked f*cking lovely. Nice factory panniers on it. Be
the perfect bike if it wasn't so f*cking expensive.

What is that? The VFR1200? Or are you referring to something else?

Just between you and me, I think the VFR1200 is a souped up VFR800
replacement, rather than replacing anything in the CBR range. I saw
one a couple of months ago. In the flesh I thought not as ugly as it
looked in pictures, but still pretty ugly IMHO, particularly around
the headlight/nose section. Yet to see one on the road. Either it's
not a big seller or I don't get out as much as I used to. I read one
forum which has a lot of members who are the types of riders who would
buy that sort of bike. Between them they own more 1400GTRs than you
could poke a stick at but not a breath about the VFR (and no, it's not
a GTR forum).

Yeah, I have yet to see one in the flesh but have yet to see a photo
that makes i look good. And I am a former Hayabusa and Blackbird
owner.

But having owned 4 Honda V engined bikes I am intrigued.
