From: BryanUT on 1 Jul 2010 19:47 Utah is considering eliminating our already liberal concealed carry law. They are proposing no permit necessary to carry a concealed weapon, we can already conceal one in our car without permit. Open carry is fully legal, no permit required, anywhere anytime. So of course the guys that sell conceal carry permit classes have mixed feelings. Gee that is a surprise. All I can say is that John Wayne never resorted to a concealed weapon, he wore his proudly. Talk amongst yourselves.

I'm from New York, where it can take months to even get a handgun permit. I would never think of such a thing (no permit for concealed guns) as possible. But that's just me. -- Jason

When I lived there the open carry law was "two complete cocking motions to bring a live round under the hammer" on revolvers , empty chamber on semi-auto pistols - that was w/out any kind of permit . Still that way for open carry ? Tennessee has "handgun carry permits" , open or concealed as you choose . And unlike some places , I can carry any handgun I like , not just the one I qualified with . -- Snag Got Guns ?

"Terminator" movies notwithstanding, the Goobernator presents no real threat.
