Can you seriously not figure it out from my op, which included words
such as Silverstone, drive-by, 13k RPM, hairpin & straight? Iwht it's
obvious I'm talking about bikes going round the circuit.

I'm glad we got that sorted. I'm now eagerly awaiting your reply.

If I look at the third hit Google gives for `silverstone noise test',
I find

There is a static noise limit of 105dB and a drive-by limit of 102dB
for all general testing on the national circuit.

http://www.ioa.org.uk/about-us/news-article.asp?id=156

So, if you're talking about 105dB (which I assume is a sound power and
not a sound pressure level), `drive-by' doesn't come into it since it
refers to a static test. A static test means you're standing still. As
I said: `noise of what doing what'?

Googling for `silverstone noise test 102db' give:

http://www.visordown.com/forum/forummessages.asp?dt=&UTN=378672&V=5&last=1&SP=358145344682466931288

which might be what you're looking for.
