Air passages weren't designed to contain water. I'll stick to carb
cleaner thanks ...

They use water in ultra sonic cleaning systems and if a carb refuses to
behave after being "cleaned" by other methods, ultra sonic cleaning is used
as it's regarded s *the* most effective solution.

Good thinking there. I'll see if I can find a bit of powderey stuff tomorrow
and see if the Schutz gun idea
works. IIRC, a Schutz gun costs around 12 quid, is anyone's interested. the
nozzle will still need to be narrowed though to get some speed up. If things
work as I expect, the speed should REALLY have no difficulty hitting the
spot:-)
