It warms my heart to hear folks talk about SpodeFest..
Almost brings a tear to my eye.....Memories of the 1998
fest still fresh on my mind...
"Damn that ride to Atlanta kicked my azz"
Whoohoo!

Just to clarify dates: August 1-7 ?

It would be cool to have dates & attendees posted in a central place
where they could be regularly updated <nudge, nudge, wink, wink> I
know, this smacks of "non-organizing"

How's the Boise River for canoeing? Wondering if I should get a rack
& strap the canoe on top of the van. I'm still planning on rebuilding
the TT bumper to mount a bike hauler back there. I can probably cram
in 4 bikes & a watercraft for the ultimate toy hauler.

It looks like I may be be bringing along my current riding partner (Ed
on an XR400), but I would still have room for Rick McMurria, if he
wants/needs a ride this year.

I'm still a "possible". I'm waiting to see if our wonderful
government is still willing to throw money at me. I'll then know how
to plan that far out. I've got bikes, plenty of 'em. I've got the
toy hauler. Truck, even. Seems like I'm just waiting on "time". I
have to keep riding the chinese junk that's over here just to get my
riding fix. Sure, it's dirt, but....

Just to make it two complete weekends, lets say July 31 - August 8

Have at it. This is pretty much out-of-the-box at the moment, tweaking
to come...

By August the river should be fairly low, I've seen canoes, kayaks,
tubes, inflatable boats/rafts.
