<breaking my own posting rules here...>

Exactly. Their window of bone-picking opportunity ends in September,
so they fabricate reasons to get before a judge hoping to get whatever
is left on the bone. I have found that they are willing to commit six-
figure perjury, and that the judge doesn't care if they do. Noting
said perjury to the judge I was told by the judge "you just want to
feel good".

The state agency that enforces child support is unable to accept both
sides of cancelled checks as proof of payment. Only a judge or my ex-
wife can declare them valid. The proof has been in their file for
months, but the payments don't show up on the automaton's glowing CRT
so I don't get credit for them.

Also, the perjurers expect me to reimburse medical bills without proof
that they are real. In the old days I trusted my ex on medical bills,
but now with the lies, lies, and more lies, I don't. If she was so far
off on the payments I had made to her, she is probably off on the
medical numbers too.

So, yeah, I'll be being treated like a criminal in court because of my
penis while you folks are festing.

When I calm down, I blame the lawyers (including two judges) for 99%
of this. The system, at least in CT, is a joke.

Scrape's favorite part would have been when the lady for whom English
is clearly a second language started reading the decree to me so that
I could understand the subtleties of the language.

I. Hate. Lawyers.

They are 100% the root of everything that is wrong with this country.
They know it and they've created a system that ensures that nothing
can be done about it.

Another note:
Yesterday, I saw a, uhmmm, person for whom English is clearly a second
(if any) language standing on a street corner with a sign begging. My
thought at this point, after conferring with a couple folks, is that
this guy was taking away a job from a perfectly willing to beg,
American bum.

Dean, I feel your pain.

I get the pleasure of a court appearance 2 days before we head to
Spodefest. Another one 6 weeks later. I did get a voice in setting
dates and was prepared to veto any date that would even remotely
interfere with a potential riding trip.

After the magistrate hears both contempt cases, I expect they will
have a very unfavorable impression of the ex- for any future action.
She fully admitted guilt in an email for a couple of the charges.
After hearing that one, her atty commented "That wasn't very
bright".

Divorce, the gift that keeps on giving. :-/

Well, It looks like I picked up another attendee. Some of you might
remember Doug Landau (doug.landau(a)gmail.com). Well, he is coming with
me and will be riding my spare GasGas. If things go as planned, we
should be arriving on Thursday Tracy flys in on Tuesday to join in on
the fun.

Tracy is currently going through our camping "stuff" and getting
organiazed. I'm obviously wasting time. Once the caffein starts
working, so will I.
