Local walmart once had a sale on Amsterdam beer. Three pack with a 6%,
8% and 11%. Drank from weakest to strongest and spent the afternoon
drooling on couch...

That ain't beer.
Ale yeast will only ferment to ~9 or 10%. Champagne yeast will only
get to around 14%. That's got to be fortified or distilled.
