Keihin carburetor tuning problems
Hey folks, I've a 1972 Honda CL350 with some apparent carburetor issues. The jets are the factory ones, so this doesn't have to do with jet size. I have gone through the standard procedure of tuning them ( Warm the engine, adjust the idle to ~1100rpm, turn the mixture screws on each until engine idles at it's max... 10 Sep 2009 13:40
garden tractor starter snafu
My 1987 Honda HT3813 tractor won't start. I have a new battery and new solenoid. I turn the key, get a click. Sequentially, where do I start the diagnosis process? Do I have a broken wire that won't deliver enough juice to the solenoid? Do I jump from battery to terminal with another wire? Do I splice in another ... 12 Dec 2008 09:30
lithium vs. moly grease, u joints, BMW R100GS
I've seen conflicting opinions on the appropriate U joint grease for shaftys. Currently I'm using Mobil1 synthetic, which I gather is a lithium based NLGI (?) rating 2 grease. Recently I noticed one rebuilder reccomending moly based. Anybody have any opinions on this ? ... 1 Dec 2008 14:38

Turning The TW200 Into A Street Bike (Mostly)
I've shopped around, sat on several motorcycles, studied specs, talked with others, read reviews and have finally decided to go with the Yamaha TW200, mainly because it fits me the best and the 196cc SOHC 4- stroke single provides all of the power I need. I know some will question this since the TW200 seems to be... 25 Aug 2008 08:19
XT250 or TW200?
Hi, my name's Bill Miller (I'm using my Uncle Jay's computer) and I'm looking for a motorcycle I can ride around town (25 - 45 mph) and also go off-road. I've looked at both the Yamaha TW200 and the XT250 and like some things about both of them but thought I'd check with the techs to see if there's anything "und... 7 Aug 2008 08:20
Suzuki JR50 Ignition
I have a 1995 JR50 with no spark. I also have a 1980 JR50. The early 1980 model uses points and condensor whereas the 1990 model uses a CDI ignition. I have a service manual for the 1980 which has the schematic for the old ignition. I need the schematic and relavent pages for the late model bike so that I can c... 24 Jul 2008 11:53
