I'm not mathemetician, nor indeed am I an arithmetician, but isn't 100% of your
speed, well, your speed? If you mean double your speed, wouldn't it be 200% of
it?

hmmm... neither am I

but wouldn't 200% of my road speed equal the quoted 100% "faster" than
my road speed?
