It's very nice but I really want an R90S at some point and if I had
this one I'd want to keep them both and that'd be stupid

He had an R90S but p/x'd it for the R80RS that I now have of his, he still
kept the R69 as it's almost a family heirloom nowadays :)

He relates that he did his first euro tour to Italy on a brand new BSA gold
star. By the time he got back to the UK it was pretty much fecked. In his
words "just not built for the job"... he'd been chatting with some Belgian
guy in a campsite who had an R69 and the Belgian related how his R69 hadn't
given a moments concern ... he was so impressed with it he bought one as
soon as he could from a dealers in Thames Ditton ... he did say the
dealerships name but it eludes me for now.
