Buffs are great, all year round. Keep my neck warm in winter and kept diesel fumes and smog out of your lungs in India. I think Peter was using the Tooks for the built in speakers. Problem with wearing something like a woollen beanie on your head under your helmet in winter is that when winter is over, your helmet lining will be too compressed to be worn comfortably. Nev.. Your right Nev, it is the speakers that got my attention, with the headband. Total cost deliverd was just under $50. Not cheap considering but they are built a little tougher than standard ear buds and are a lot more comfortable... time will tell though. :-P

On 2010-07-27, Peter (aka Bruce) was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea: > I use a neck sock but have yet to get it wet in the rain. > Your right Nev, it is the speakers that got my attention, with the > headband. I'll tell you on Thursday if I make it to Sydney alive. Oh, why does my grapefruit have to have her birthday during this week's scheduled downpour? > Total cost deliverd was just under $50. > Not cheap considering but they are built a little tougher than standard > ear buds and are a lot more comfortable... time will tell though. But my impression was that they wouldn't act as a noise cancelling device at all, which is why I have ear plugs (with earphones in them. Now I just need to get an mp3 player). -- TimC This message consists entirely of true bits and false bits! |
