Handle bar engine kill switch or ignition key switch to stop bike?
Do you use the handle bar engine kill switch or ignition key switch to stop your bike? I have been told that my Triumph Bonneville has been eating ignition coils every 1500 miles, because I have been using the engine cut out switch, that is on the handle bars to much. It was explained = It's to do with the ... 25 Oct 2009 10:57
Secondhand Rose and a walk down Memory lane.
The lad christened his one piece leathers today with our trip to the Stafford show. He now realises that whilst they may be needed for his hill climb exploits next year they aren't all that practical for walking round in all day (particularly with Fox MX boots) and going to the loo. When we got home I dug out ... 19 Oct 2009 22:02

Thanks to all who have helped me so far! I followed your advice, changed BOTH throttle cables, and the force needed to control the throttle is much less, the bike is now rideable for at least short distances. Will take it on a long trip soon and then report back...... (The old cables sure looked like a mess when... 10 Oct 2009 04:06
Yachting and stuff
Hi Thought you might like to know that I passed the Yacht Master theory OK. Next week I'm off on the North Sea in a 36 footer for a week with an examiner and crew. There are 4 of us taking it together. We crew for each other. To say I'm a tad nervous about it, is an understatement. -- Best regards Mick W... 8 Oct 2009 09:00

Auto electrician required
I've run in a little complication with my intention to fit my race ZX10R engine in my road bike. The race motor really needs the race ECU. The race ECU only works with the race loom (it plugs into the road one, but just doesn't work). The race loom doesn't have any connectors for lights, indicators, horn, etc.... 15 Oct 2009 06:11
