Another Aunty Carol reminder
In case the message hasn't got through, when you get your renewl do a new quote on the web, then phone them up and point out their web quote is cheaper than the one they posted you and you'd like that one please. It's the European break down cover for bikes over 10 years old that keeps me with them. -- Lady N... 19 Jul 2010 13:37
Siverstone Noise Test.
Does anyone know how & where they do the noise test at Silverstone? I know it's a drive-by, but don't know where, & phoning them has proved less than useful. Obviously 105dB at a hairpin is a lot different to 105dB at 13k RPM on the straight. -- Krusty Raptor 1000 MV 750 Senna Tiger 955i Tiger 885 Fa... 19 Jul 2010 15:50

In praise of Lisa at Dainese, Manchester
Top lass Knows her bike gear (for women), as she rides, races and uses the gear. Jean has been on the hunt for some more "touring" style gear for a while and was getting nowhere, until HG in Manchester sent her to the Dainese store. Lisa, a slim chick in the Italian style, understood that Jean as a normally... 19 Jul 2010 18:02
Wasting the time wasters time (OT and long-ish)
Got a call today from an Indian chappie - 3rd in the past couple of weeks, *telling* me I has a problem with my PC, it was running slow and kept crashing. I said no, it wasn't running slow or crashing, but he persisted, so I played along. He went on to tell me that my computer "is riddled with worms, viru... 20 Jul 2010 10:18
I have in my hand a piece of paper
Wicked Uncle Nigel wrote: Well, two pieces actually. Got the GTR MOTd today (its first one), and decided that while I was on a roll, I'd get the Notrun done too. Two passes. I'll be taking the RGV for an MOT on Monday morning. Last task (hopefully) before it goes to its new home. And then it'll be... 18 Jul 2010 16:00
