Which one? There's the old pub on the right, the Violet Town hotel,
and the flash new hotel on the left, the Ellen Frances, which burned
down about 15 yrs ago and was rebuilt. I'll bet the beds at the Ellen
Frances are about 100 years more comfortable than those at the VTH.

Sounds like a possibility for the "Longest Distance per CC" trophy!

OK. I'm STILL not promising anything, but I've come up with a plan on
how to get away from work early on Friday (which involves simply
running away -- it's very unprofessional) and I've just hammered
some tent pegs out straight. The next question is: where is the
nearest bottleshop to Funkytown? I usually set up the tent, stow
everything I can and THEN go to the bottleshop. If the bottleshop is
more than 10 km away, I'll get a bottle of spirit on the way in!

Tarrago Pub. Justa bit more than 10k? slow dirt.[1] Go the spirits.

[1] Well it's slow when I ride it. I get harassed by hairy 4WD drivers.
