Bollox.

Getting up at 7am, driving an ancient transit to a desolate former
airfield, now race track, unloading bike and kit, getting
scrutineered, changing into leathers and then scaring your self in
practice is the way to spend a Sunday morning.

The afternoon is often even better.

That depends on the club organising the meeting and the scrutineers
doing the job. Not all insist that you wear any of your race kit, they
just want to see it.

If Champ is referring to the ARA then you have to wear your kit.

Most do nowadays. Back in the 80s you could show with your leathers
on the hanger.
