From: rkba on 18 May 2007 03:48 If Yamalube is the worst oil according to charts like AMSOIL, why is it the most expensive oil as well???? Mobil 1 seems to be the best m-cycle lube. -- Triad Productions-Fantalla~EZine~ParaNovel National Astrophysical Assault Research http://lacasse.naar.be http://ammo.at/lacasse

There is nothing wrong with Yamalube products. Why is it expensive? Well...Because it's being sold & a Yamaha dealer & they "ALWAYS" get top-dollar for thier products. I myself love Amsoil products. I've been using them for years. The only downside is finding a local dealer selling Amsoil. I just buy from Amsoil direct online. Even after S/H they cost about the same as Mobil One from any retail dealer. Stick with Amsoil, it's top-notch product. If not..You can find Royal Purple products in many stores & they make excellent oil as well. Alex

I've had every trouble there is, but none of it involved using the "wrong" oil.

You were talking about oil for motorcycles...sorry about that carry on. <sotto voc> now where did I put that squeeze tube of olive oil? -- Keith Schiffner History does not record anywhere at any time a religion that has any rational basis. Religion is a crutch for people not strong enough to stand up to the unknown without help. But, like dandruff, most people do have a religion and spend time and money on it and seem to derive considerable pleasure from fiddling with it. Robert Heinlein |
