Oops I misread what you wrote. Mea culpa. What I should have said
was: "Well then, the new measures appear to be working."

That's it, I recall the square . So that was the original JB? Well
there ya go.

I used to have an off-sider called Brian, but he wasn't very reptilian,
apart from he liked lounging about in the sun.

However, I do agree with what you are saying.

Certainly, I dunno how the authorities can realistically deal with the
real hard-core loonies.

In the overall scheme of things, possibly ignoring them might be as good
a ploy as any, since they generally are more likely to kill themselves
rather than a bunch of innocent bystanders.

This is not to say that I won't be very cranky indeed if I get hit,
while I am riding sensibly, by a hoon on the wrong side of the road,
doing over 150 kph on the Old Road.

And I'd be even more pissed off if I got cleaned up by a cop car
desperately trying to chase said hoon.

I have, in the past, denounced the hoons, and will probably continue to
do so into the future.

Am I excluded as failing to be "more rational" or have you just forgotten?

"More Rational" than Gerry is not neccessarily very rational. :-)

Very funny. Hahahahaha ;-)

I think you and I have different definitions for hoons. by my
definition, there ar a hell of a lot of them. I'd say a significant
percentage of sport bike riders would be hoons. That number certainly
demands that the authorities act.

I gave up on the Old Road for that very reason. Seems if you were
going through the twisties at about 40% above the advisory speeds
signposted, you'd still get gaggles of hoons who just HAD to pass you
in the bends.

Goes without saying.

Well you're not doing it loud enough and often enough. ;-)

>Am I excluded as failing to be "more rational" or have you just forgotten?

I've met you. You're "more rational". Certainly more rational than I
am... ;-)
