They do a lot of things wrong, most of those wrongs being caused by management and not the frontline controllers. Frontline controllers I have encountered have always worked hard to provide great service under a very stressful condition. What caught my ear was the $85 per diem. I work for a large corporation that I always thought had a generous expense policy, and we don't even get an $85 per diem. That's just ridiculous. But what are you going to do to stop them? Nothing. As a nation, both conservative and liberal don't like the health care bill that is going through the Senate, and yet the damn senators are going to vote for it anyway. What happened to "representation"? I didn't vote for a "leader", I voted for someone to represent me and my wants and needs. So, we have a bill that doesn't meet the criteria for either side of the political equation, that will cost billions, and they will vote "yes" on it because our jackass President wants it that way, to save his promise to the voters? Let's just say everything was darn fine at work for a week while the entire brain trust was gone. For some reason everything seems to run smoother when the inmates are in charge of the asylum :-) 112 |
