I'm planning to pop over the channel, just for 24 hours, carting a load
of tat over. I've managed to blag a vehicle, but my CIHAGM insurance
doesn't extend to overseas.

Anyone aware of a policy that will do the necessary for not too many
sovs? Breakdown cover would be a bonus.

Ecarinsurance will do short term insurance with Euro cover, that's who
I used to take the Evos to Austria. You fill out the form online, pay
online, print off your certificate from an email and that's it, all
done. I have taxed cars with the printed certificate too, so it's all
valid.

That didn't used to be the case. I double checked I would be covered
abroad and the certificates were clearly marked as such when I used
them.

I got stopped by German Police and they were satisfied everything was
in orde, my friend Alex has had the same in the past year as well. That
must be a recent thing.
