I don't see your application yet on clarke's site
http://www.clarkemfg.com/

Call them up and ask them when they will have your bike's tank ready. They
are nice and helpful folks there.

I have seen temperature sensitive strips used on tanks of compressed liquid
gas so that you can tell the level of the liquid inside the tank.. (the
tanks are stainless steel not plastic so temp transfer is better) I wonder
if you put a temp strip on your fuel tank you could tell the fuel level?
there are ones on propane gas grill tanks as well

What I did was swap out the vent hose for a clear one. When I want to
measure the fuel, I then take off the cap and remove the hose,
straighten the hose the best I can and push it to the bottom of the
tank. Keep your finger over the other end and pull the hose out.
Then you can look at the level on fuel in the hose. It kind of gives
me a rough guesstimate of how much I have left and is easy to do.
