I don't bother normally but if it's really annoyingly bright I just put the
main beam on and sit there just the same, after a few seconds they usually
get the message. I do make a point of using the handbrake if there's
someone behind though.

It's not that which worries me so much: it's the twonks driving around
with no lights on at all. I saw three, yes three, separate such idiots
on my way home last night. I think part of the problem is that so many
cars have illuminated dials now whether the lghts are on or off, and
so people just think their headlights are on and drive away.

I've not come across any like that but then I don't drive anything modern,
if so they should be the subjects of a factory recall to rectify a potential
hazard.
