BTDT, in the gathering rush-hour gloom on the ring-road around
Brussels -- with a broken front brake-line...

I opted to stop at the first motel I saw. Next day it snowed on
me in the Eiffel mountains, and I arrived back in Untersiggenthal with
bronchitis.

She was almost worth it.

I just looked up a nun's habit -- google returned 214,000 hits...

I am sitting here reminiscing about the good old days when I have been
taken by surprise and had to slow down quick and have to say that it
happens a lot less these days than it did when I first started out and
about.

It is all about speed and traffic density innit.

If you is slowed down to the pace of the mist as you tend to be on
today's crowded roads then they are not needed at all. Opposites
probably apply.
