No code is way suspicious. I don't know how this helps but....
No code is way suspicious. Low fuel pressure would give a
code.

I want the widget that will do another 119,000+ miles.

Well, I got $604 at the scrapyard yesterday.
366 pounds of lead and 225 pounds of copper and brass.
So, whatever it is will probably cost about $605

Is there an "inertia switch" on Chevys?
I once borrowed a F150 pick-up which quit running after I hat a
particularly bad pothole. Luckily, the manual was in the glove box,
which told me about the inertia switch, which it turns out had shut
off my fuel pump due to the jarring of the pothole.

Um, I dunno. I'd think there'd be a code for that too, though.

That sounds like a dopey system. Was it a rental?
Good thing they don't put those on dirt bikes.
