nathan,
that pistol was built by the son of the guy who brought it home from ww2
and is a fairly renown local pistol smith. i acquired it in its present
form and it can never go back to what it was. there has been too much metal
checkering and such to back up now. lots of those old military .45's laying
around, so no great historical loss, it is now a very interesting piece that
is all function. it is my winter weather carry gun. during the hot sticky
summer months down here i have to tote stainless.

some day i am going to drag out all of my .45's and photograph them with
some care for my website. i actually don't even know how many i have
currently. i keep buying rarer varients like randalls, detonics, dan
wessons and lots of colts. i picked up a couple of colt wheel guns
yesterday. a nice nickel detectives special and a old 1892 wells fargo
varient. got them stuck in the vault here at work hoping to sell at least
one before i get emotionally attached. i have two kimber .45's for sale at
present. there are so many of them on the market now that they are not
special anymore. one stainless compact and and a custom shop ultra cdp2. i
figure to use the money toward a turnbolt 50bmg.

if its worth it to you im certain wilson combat back build up and
reform...but they DO charge a premium rate for their services. i would LOVE
to find a real colt from that era, you have quite the find there.

dedicated to 1911s by chance?

it seems we share the same passion (or is it a sickness?). i know i have
several dozen 1911s but ive never bothered to count them. its like an
addiction of sorts. oddly enough i dont carry 1911s (i prefer higher
capacity platforms) but they are by far my all time favorite shooters.

He's stupid and irrelevent. A troll is a troll and by any other is still a
socially awkward instigator with no life. Sits behind a screen and fucks
around in a newsgroup of people who know each other IRL and clearly have no
use for him. His social life is null or he wouldn't find this entertaining.
I couldn't even imagine why someone would want to spend precious time with
people who have made it clear he's not wanted. It's sadly obvious what he's
like IRL. I filtered him for no other reason than he's a waste of time. He
offers zero and trolling here is the best he can do to provide some good
feeling in his disturbed world. He feels powerless in a world that has left
him behind and needs to take on a silly issue to faux subjugate anything in
his life. His paranoia results from being on the lifelong losing end of all
life has to offer. His bitterness manifests itself as chest thumping gun
toting bullshit. It's debilitating to be so insecure that you need to post
his insideously stupid message boards as respresentation of who he is rather
than something bike related. No regular here would ever feel the need to do
that. It speaks volumes and it's a tale of woe. Gnats been swatted by life
and trolling here is the best he can do to swat back. He'll be gone soon
enough. They always have been and they always will.

And Montana's a hotbed of crime.

LOL. You gotta let that stuff out. It's not healthy to carry that sort
of thing bottled up inside you.

It'll turn you into a Frenchu.

And nobody wants that.
