interesting, she likes the glass vase I made her back in the mid eighties...
same with the pottery & paintings... it's been a while since I've done
art, usually I'm helping the kids in the studio, hmm

Well I like how that started out... :)

Flowers that live on are great. I saved some seeds from the forget-me-
nots in my wedding bouquet and they are still growing in our yard
almost 17 years later.

Well, the ad says to "Say it with flowers" so I guess it depends on
what you're trying to say <G>

Yes! Absolutely! Best suggestion yet!

Oh. Well, that works too, I guess...

Eric made a blackberry pie once for my birthday. There was flour on
the ceiling in the kitchen by the time he was done, but it was
delicious and it was an extremely thoughtful gesture.

We were at the parts counter the other day getting new rotors and hubs
for the Pleasure Palace van. $578. Eric wished me a heartfelt Happy
Valentine's Day as he handed over his credit card.
I don't want expensive gifts, I only want his undivided attention
while we go do something fun. It's a 4-day weekend for us so I'm sure
we'll be able to figure something out <G>

This is neat:

http://www.links2love.com/quotations_love_generator.htm

I got:

"My awesome grasping at your rose berries will enmesh our raging
romance."

Googling "valentine ideas" yielded a virtual treasure trove. I like
this one:

"Learn how to take erotic photos of each other with a digital camera."

Lastly, Wal-Mart has a huge selection of sugar-free chocolates, some
of which are awesome. The only side effect I've noticed is they act
as a laxative. Maybe a good gift to incorporate in colonoscopy prep?
