You couldn't rely on them for a "big shop" for a week of groceries. Great for a top-up shop where you want something for that evening without being to fussy what that might be. As Ace's bottle recycling bin will testify, they stock some reasonable plonk, although the 2 bottles of decent burgundy were sourced in LeClerc.

But yeah, the Aldi slurping wines include some pretty good stuff, especially given that some of it is less than 2 euros a bottle...

I actually disagree a lot with that - insulation is a worthwhile thing to be putting in. Most of the problem is over-complexity in house construction which translates into trying to craft build things on site rather than pre-assemble them. This is being sorted out but since builders basically do things exactly the same way as when they apprenticed you have to wait for a lot of them to retire first. |
