I drive a car, like most normal people. I just happen to be rather good

No, I think you'll find I'm good at it. I'm not the best, but I've put a
lot of work in to make sure I'm better than most. What's the point doing
the work if there's nothing to show for it?

I'm sure you're happy to be mediocre, but I'm not.
