There's a funny thing. I *loved* the Narnia stories when I was a kid,
but I *never* got the christian references. Probably because I was
(thank god!) raised in an essentially atheist household.

I was also hopelessly addicted to Biggles and the Jennings books.

I know a bloke who reckons that the Narnia books are actually about the
planets.
