The Asus has a good built in sound system and it is actually working amazingly well. The larger Chat 150 as it is now wasn't easily available in the UK so I've just ordered a Polycom C100S for Monday delivery. That should keep me amused until Wednesday. -- Hog

OK so the Polycom C100S arrived this morning and was pressed into service for a couple of calls today. With it lying flat on the desk divider the call quality is great at 1m from both sides and the front and fair from 3m away. 3 of us around a table were clear and background noise free to other locations. www.amazon.co.uk/Polycom-2200-44000-107-Communicator-Blue/dp/B000HZS2EY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266255428&sr=8-3 The speaker is also fine for listening to R4/2 during the day. Recommended. Skype should have it in their Shop.... -- Hog |
