$8500 will buy you a decent high mile used TC dresser, a very nice TC
softail or real nice Evo Dresser
$4k will buy a decent evo softail or dresser A nice Shovel or an
almost new sportster
A rider Panhead will go for $5-8k with matching numbers
$8k and up will buy a full dresser Pan with matched numbers ready to
show, $12k and over is stupid money
A mismatched chopper - usually the sum of the parts is greater than
the sum of the total.
Butt that's just my opinion.
These days OlSkewl can produce any kind of buyer on any given day
Best of luck

Dunno where you live, but $4k around here won't get you within a mile of
a decent Harley. Maybe I should move.

Always thought you'd look suave with an eye patch. Then all you'd need is
the parrot.

For $4K my slabside Shovel was "OK" but I spent a
few months fixing stupid stuff before I rode it.
If it's all there, built intelligently and runs
well it should fetch ~$8K in a Seattle market.
