I was amused to see that the new Ferrari 458, as featured in tonight's
top gear, places the electronic speedo and satnav display in the same
piece of screen real-estate on the dash, such that you can switch
between the two displays. This means that you can either know how
fast you're going, or know where you are, but not both at the same
time.

I'm guessing there's someone at Ferrari secretly hugging themselves
with their little joke.

Except the screen to the left of the tacho also had a digital speed
readout on it, iirc.

And most satnavs display the speed at the bottom of the screen.
