From: Greg O on 13 Aug 2006 01:28 Damn! This is gonna sound like Spam but here goes! I bought a HB-125 primary chain tensioner of Ebay. I was a nay-sayer about this automatic tensioners but a buddy put the HD one on his ride and likes it so I bought the HB-125. The bike shifts like a damn Honda, nice a smooth with a quiet little click instead of a loud clunk. Neutral is easier to find, right there above first where it is supposed to be! Plus it took a bunch of slack out of the drive line. Last service I spent extra time and effort to be sure the chain was as tight as it was supposed to be, but hell this sucker is night and day difference! I thought at first, why bother? The chain rarely needs adjustment! But I'm telling you it is more than that. This thing keeps some tension on the chain all the time so there is no slack where even adjusted properly the stock setup leaves play in the chain. If you do a search on Ebay for HB125 you will find them for $65 and $10 shipping. None listed on Ebay right now, but keep your eyes peeled! I'll echo the comments you made about shifting, etc. As expected (cause I was told), there is now a slight whine from the primary that wasn't there before......but like I said, I'd been told (here) that would normal. -- Steve Irving (Irv) - BS#237/SLOB#12 http://www.nite.com/bike.html Under a black flag we shall sail.......
