I was pretty much ATGAATT (All The Gear All The Time).

People at work have watched me suit up to ride. They often say "that
looks awful warm for this weather".

So it got me thinking.

Most of the time, I don't have a collision, lowside, or highside.

Most of the time I don't need the gear.

Now, a bike drop about a decade ago taught me that once I'm going
down, I don't have time to go home and gear up. So what I needed to do
was only wear the gear when I was going to need it.

So first I decided "any time I'm sure I'm not going to need the gear,
I won't wear it".

That seemed like a good idea until I realized that the times I need
the gear were times I could still get pretty hurt - even with the gear
on.

I thought about this for a long time.

I broke out Excel and ran some "what ifs".

I got a big dry-erase board and wrote some equations.

I built some scale models in my garage.

And I finally came to a brilliant conclusion:

"Only ride when I'm sure I'm not going to have a collision or fall".

With that decided, I realized I no longer needed protection. I've gone
None Of The Gear Any Time (NOTGAT).

So I have a few items available to sell because I no longer ride when
there's any risk:

Two HJC helmets: one black, one silver.
1 Aerostich Roadcrafter suit
1 lime yellow FirstGear Kilimanjaro jacket
Two pairs first gear gloves
Two pairs of boots
1997 Suzuki LS650 Savage
2010 Honda NT700V

Gee, I thought your last attempt at trolling was a whole lot
better; a little more subtle, ya know?

This wasn't so much a troll as a post in support of ATGATT with an
ironic twist.

I had a fun troll in 1997 about the first service for the Savage.
