Does anyone know who makes good deerskin (gauntlet) gloves,
preferably US made? I've seen Vansons, but they're pretty expensive.

And the elk are really nice gloves; I've had a pair for
a couple of years - really comfortable. Can't beat
'em for the price.

They are sweet. Mind ewe I am a luddite and use some old military
leather shell gloves. They have the knuckles done so they allow lots
of flexibility, palm is two or three layers and it's all 2-2.5mm tough
cowhide that when treated with the right oils* is extremly flexable
and water resistant. ;^)

*I prefer obenauf's.
