8 and 9? That's TOO OLD! They'll never be fast starting that late in
life! ;^)

Congrats, Don. Far, far better to be a grandparent than a
parent, always. As a grandparent, you can always hand
the kids back when they get too wet/noisy/squirmy/etc....;-)

BTW, are twins common in your family?

Thanks Bob.

Yes, they seem to pop up on my wife's side of the family, every second
generation. She was incredibly validated by this, as she has been
predicting for some years now that our daughter will have twins.

Now you have TWO grandkids the same age to spoil rotten then send
home. Question is do you send them home with one puppy or two puppies?
8^) Yeah, I've been plotting for when our eldest starts having
grandkids. <evyl laugh>

For awhile there, it looked like she was going to deliver right around
midnight, so we mused one could be born one day (just before midnight)
and the other the next day. That woulda been kinda interesting.

As it turned out, they were born at 12:36 and 12:39 am.
