Doh

I take the precaution of using a river crossing that has average speed
cameras.

Count for 3 on for 5. Some ins co ask for convictions in the last 5
years though.

On a slightly different note, I insured the K5 in Feb through Autonet
via the comparison website bikeinsurer.tv. Bikeinsurer asked for
claims/convictions in the last 3 years. Your details then get
pre-populated on Autonet when you click through. So I buy the policy
then 7 days later get a letter saying they want another 40 on top of
the 130 premium for an accident 5 years ago. Lots of time on hold to
their 0870 number resulted in me telling them to shove it purely out of
stubborn principal.

Tog, that's why it is *always* worth trying to twist and turn and beat the
system. IMHO of course.
One gnarly copper disgruntled with your London riding habits now and you get
a year in the Sin Bin. Assuming it is still 6 for Careless.

On for four years and points does not equal a conviction.
