Figuring that stuff out to last penny is what BMI and ASCAP do for a
living.

Naturally a performer playing copyrighted material gets paid less per
gig at the end of the day because the club owner isn't making what he
would have without paying royalty fees. That's why club owners like to
hire musicians who do a lot of good originals or mostly play material
that's no longer protected under copyright law.

Now is the time when a real human being would say 'whoops!" and
apologise, but we won't hold our breath waithing.

You may own your own anger, or not own it, as you please.

I am not affected by your subjective reactions.

Why not? Kumbhaka can have beneficial effects when practiced
skillfully.

? How could anyone possibly predict that?

It's gonna depend on the weather, possible future fires, how much pull
the businessmen and installations up there have in Sacramento, and
what the economy does in the next few years.

You can be pretty sure that they'll *never* close the section up above
Pasadena as that's the only access to Mount Wilson, which houses not
only a number of astronomical observatories but also the transmitters
for darned near every TV and radio station in the LA area.

What they *might* do is simply stop maintaining the road entirely and
post great big signs saying "PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!"

I doubt they'd do that...the sign might mess with the local ecology.
As for the rest...aren't they doing that to the entire state already?

Naw. Deer can't read worth a damn.

(And when they do, it's only cheap romance novels like "Crimson
Antlers In Barbados", "Bambi Does Dallas", or "Who Goosed The
Moose?".)

We look at it this way: the state of our road system encourages more
dual-sport motorcycle sales.
