The SE 103s and 110s have been getting the stouter comp sprocket for a while now. You may have been a tad early for it though as it's a -08 part number. 112

I think the '07 & up cam tensioner setup is gonna stand the test of time. I saw a set with 50k on 'em and there was no perceptable wear. If you're thining bagger there really isn't a choice IMO..... the '09 frame and Brembos, ABS etc is worth the debugging effort. If one is gonna have a sled long-term that Extended Warranty might be worth considering the way they're throwing things together these days. 112

Looking at used 07 or newer cop bikes. Low miles, big motah and ABS. No new frame but I'm thinkin I might have to compromise. That may all change in 6 months or so. My Deuce has gone over 80,000 miles with no issues. I have had to replace the tensioners twice or course. I see used bikes with gear drives installed, 2002-2006 with like 10000 or less (2k) miles on 'em. So my logic is if mine went that far, a used one with gear driven cams installed can only be that much better. But then sometimes you just gotta say what the hell. -- John
