I flew my bike over in 2005 for 4 months

David at HC offers shipping & US/Canada insurance

(I haven't used his services but got some good advice from him)
Other shipping info at Horizons Unlimited

I also got a lot of local help from the MSTA (Motorcycle Sports Touring
Association). I got drunk with a few of them, dragged round their
favourite twisties, given route advice and bed for the night.

mailing list.
I'm renting a BMW F800S out of Denver for two weeks in June for the
annual MSTA get together. It's in Taos NM this year.

BTDT.

A loop around LA, Death Valley, Yosemite, San Francisco, PCH, LA in a
week. Rental Harleys thobut.

The best bit for me was coming down from Yosemite, better than PCH, IMO.

Another place that is better than PCH is the Great Ocean Road[1],
although a tad further away, granted.

[1] I've only done this in a Toyota Camry.

Hell, yeah!

I borrowed one off a bloke I met in a pub when I was in Daytona in
1993. OK, it was a SO-Nighthawk, but better than my Nissan hire car.

How about a nice pink Tiger with full hard luggage, touring Scottoiler,
heated grips & Vario screen? Wouldn't take a man of your talents long
to make the pink bits black to match the frame & engine.
