The comment from SPman showed a distinct lack of historical knowledge -- we *DID* organise bikers like that in Oz, when some Govt (so long ago that the details are misty, probably in the 70s) decided to fine motorcyclists for sharing parking spaces -- one per meter, lads! So early one Saturday morning, hordes of motorcyclists descended on the CBD and parked up -- one per parking space. Come the Saturday shopping crush and there was nowhere for cars to park.
