Never dealt with motoren-israel though I've heard
of them. I have bought from Siebenrock and Motobins.
Lots of good stuff out there on the internet. With
Siebenrock, the computer translated correspondence
back and forth was pretty entertaining.

Try this lot:

www.motorworks.co.uk

Unbelievably good service. New parts and used.

There's some eBay shyster in the US trying to flog a set of panniers to
fit K-bikes. The panniers have defective locks, and he's asking $450,
and telling people that new they're $3000!

Motorworks have 'em for one-fifth that price, and that's with working
locks ;-)

If you don't know what you're doing, don't do it. And RTFM.

Thanks for the lead. I tend to go for U.S. spares and
foreign specialty parts. The final drive I bought on eBay,
supposedly with about 35,000 miles on it cost $143,
including shipping.

Overseas parts seem to take forever, probably because
we have to make sure they're not some kind of fiendish
device to blow up the United States.

$90 is a pretty good price for a single bag and a great one
for a pair. I'll keep 'em in mind.

Erm, one fifth of $3000 is six hundred bucks.
